China leads global banks' LCR retreat in 2025

<p>Sharp declines in liquidity coverage ratios (LCRs) across banks in China, Japan and Switzerland pushed the global average down to 151% in 2025, a fall of 0.4 percentage points year on year, according to a Risk Quantum analysis of 103 banks.</p> <p>Across the sample of 13 jurisdictions, more than
