<p>Odaily reported that SlowMist's Cosine stated on the X platform that the reason for the theft may be that the attacker constructed a fake Merkle proof, which passed the verification of the Verus Ethereum Bridge (which is not open source), and thus successfully withdrew the funds inside (ETH/tBTC/
