UAE Cybersecurity Council Celebrates Startup Accelerator Completion

On June 23, 2026, the UAE Cybersecurity Council, in partnership with AWS, CrowdStrike, and e&, celebrated the completion of the first cohort of the AWS/CTIB Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator Programme. This initiative aims to support over 500 cybersecurity startups, providing them with equity-free access to technology expertise and mentorship. The inaugural cohort, which ran from March 25 to May 4, 2026, received 157 applications and selected 23 startups focusing on various cybersecurity domains. The program included 23 sessions totaling over 30 hours of content, featuring contributions from more than 25 expert speakers. The top five startups were announced at the closing ceremony, evaluated by a senior CISO Evaluation Panel based on innovation and growth potential.
