BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — Buncombe County said its BCAlerts for emergencies is not working due to a cyberattack on its third-party vendor, CodeRed.

For life-threatening emergencies, the county said reverse 911 and wireless emergency alerts are still available and do not require sign-up.
