Cyber attack takes major chicken processor Hazeldenes offline leaving businesses without meat

A cyber attack at Hazeldenes chicken meat processing plant in central Victoria has stalled production leaving businesses across the state short on supply.

Hazeldenes says it is working with cyber security investigators to identify the cause, although workers say problems with the company's computer systems began last week.

Businesses say they are looking to other suppliers for chicken meat so customers do not miss out.
