Back Entrackr Cyber resilience startup Mitigata raises $15 Mn in Series B round led by Bessemer
Bengaluru-based cyber resilience startup Mitigata has secured $15 million in a Series B funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Existing investors Nexus Venture Partners, Titan Capital and WEH Ventures also participated in the round.
The fresh proceeds will be used to expand the company's international presence, strengthen its AI-driven cybersecurity offerings, scale its Security Operations Centre (SOC) capabilities, and hire talent across engineering and research functions.
Previously, the startup raised $5.9 million in a Series A funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from Titan Capital and WEH Ventures in August last year.
Founded in 2023 by Mohit Anand, Sarthak Dubey, Mayank Morya and Akshit Kaushik, Mitigata offers a unified platform that combines security operations, cyber risk intelligence, compliance management, incident response and cyber insurance services.
The company claims to serve more than 800 enterprises across sectors including banking, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, technology and ecommerce. According to Mitigata, its AI-powered SOC platform processed over one million security incidents during the past year.
According to the company, nearly 95% of its current business comes from India. It plans to begin its international expansion with markets in the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia, while also exploring opportunities in the US.
Mitigata's platform includes Gordon AI, an in-house cybersecurity copilot that automates threat detection and response. The company also integrates with security platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike and SentinelOne, while offering cyber insurance services to enterprises.
The company plans to use part of the new capital to hire AI researchers, cybersecurity professionals and domain experts across industries such as banking and healthcare. It will also expand the capacity of its Security Operations Centres in Bengaluru and Delhi.
