What is confirmed so far (Oct 12): • Coopérative U CEO Dominique Schelcher confirmed the attack on X, calling it "extremely serious," "unprecedented" and "unacceptable" • Retailers confirmed to AFP: at least 300 Intermarché/Netto stores, fewer than 100 Coopérative U stores, several E.Leclerc stores and 30 Monoprix • Danfoss told BFMTV it is aware of incidents hitting "a limited number" of refrigeration management systems in France; most affected units are end-of-life AK-SM800 and AK-SC355 systems, plus AK-SM800A units on outdated firmware • BFMTV reports a forced-defrost setpoint of 50°C; two Alsace stores alone report €270K in losses • Per the Prime Minister's office, ANSSI has identified a vulnerability in the Danish vendor's software, contacted the vendor and alerted European counterparts, as other countries may be affected ⚠️ Analyst Note: No data theft, attacker identity, ransomware group or specific CVE has been confirmed.
