Back Pravda.Ua Hackers attack ATB supermarket chain: data of 7.9 million clients at risk
A group of hackers known as Datasuckers has claimed to have breached the official website and app of ATB, a major Ukrainian supermarket chain. The platforms are currently experiencing disruptions, and a placeholder page demanding a US$400,000 ransom is being displayed intermittently. ATB has commented on the cyberattack.

Quote from Demchenko: "Hackers are indeed attacking the company's resources. No personal data has been compromised because we do not store it on these resources. The attack poses no danger."
Details: The attackers claim to have gained access to 7.9 million customers' data, including phone numbers, email addresses, names, physical addresses and password hashes, as well as 127,265 employee records that include identification details and 50,300 supplier records containing tax information and details.
The page also displays a two-hour countdown to the deadline by which US$400,000 is to be paid in Bitcoin or USDT (although the timer initially showed the wrong time), otherwise the hackers say they will release all the information they have obtained.
