Scattered Spider Hackers Sentenced for £29 Million TfL Cyber Attack Two members of the Scattered Spider hacking group were sentenced to 5.5 years in prison for their roles in a cyber attack on Transport for London (TfL), which resulted in a loss of £29 million. The National Crime Agency (NCA) identified these hackers as central figures in the operation. The attack exploited vulnerabilities in TfL's systems, leading to significant disruptions and financial losses. The NCA's investigation revealed that the group used sophisticated methods to breach TfL's cybersecurity defenses.
