Questo, parent company of Georgia-based media conglomerate Morris Communications Company, has disclosed a data breach involving sensitive information.
A notice posted on the Morris website states that Questo detected unusual activity in its network environment on October 9, 2025. Following an investigation with cybersecurity professionals, Questo determined on June 22, 2026 that certain files containing personal information were accessed by an unauthorized actor between October 1, 2025 and October 9, 2025.
Per the notice, information potentially affected by the Questo data breach included names, dates of birth, driver’s license and government identification card numbers, passport numbers, tax information, Social Security numbers, financial account information, payment card information and medical information.
On July 17, 2026, Questo began sending out notices to affected individuals, a sample of which can be seen below.
