The electronic services of JSC Oschadbank are temporarily unavailable due to suspicion of a DDoS attack.

The bank’s press service confirmed that the situation is related to security measures to protect customer data and ensure stable operation of online services.

“Today, March 9, around 10:00 a.m., Oschadbank’s security protocols were triggered due to suspicion of a DDoS attack. As a result, the bank’s servers were temporarily offline”, the statement reads.

A technical check of all systems is currently underway. According to preliminary data, electronic services should be fully restored in the near future.

Oschadbank asks users to understand the temporary restrictions and to retry access after the checks are completed.

As reported earlier, the bank plans to take legal steps to recover property and valuables that were unlawfully detained in Hungary on March 6.

After the checks are completed and the online banking services are restored, Oschadbank’s online banking will operate as usual.
