Back Quantumcomputingreport QuantumGate and NEC GCC Partner to Deploy Sovereign Post
Abu Dhabi-based quantum-safe cybersecurity provider QuantumGate , a portfolio venture of the Advanced Technology Research Council’s (ATRC) commercial arm VentureOne, has entered into a strategic collaboration with NEC Corporation’s GCC branch . The partnership aims to deploy sovereign post-quantum cryptography (PQC), identity governance, and cyber resilience solutions across critical infrastructure and telecommunications operators in the United Arab Emirates.
The joint initiative combines QuantumGate’s sovereign cryptographic software stack with NEC GCC’s systems integration capabilities. The deployment framework targets four core operational areas: continuous cryptographic asset discovery and inventory, regulatory-aligned PQC migration planning, scalable multi-year implementation roadmaps, and sovereign security controls spanning identity, network access, and endpoint protection. Specific software platforms being deployed include QSphere for sovereign post-quantum secure access, phishing-resistant passwordless authentication, and Secure VMI for device-independent enterprise mobility.
NEC GCC will lead systems integration and on-premises operationalization across mission-critical environments. The deployment expands upon national quantum security directives led by the UAE Cyber Security Council and the ATRC , establishing local cryptographic governance across regional government entities, energy utilities, transport hubs, and telecommunications networks.
