ME News reports that on August 30 (UTC+8), the decentralized oracle Switchboard announced that reports overnight suggested a potential compromise of its Switchboard network implementation built on the Move language. Contributors have coordinated with relevant teams and security organizations to suspend Switchboard network services on Aptos, Sui, Iota, and Movement. Switchboard stated that no similar compromise has been reported for its Solana implementation; however, out of an abundance of caution, users are advised to migrate to alternative solutions as soon as possible, at least temporarily, while the investigation is ongoing.
