Back Fox17 Tennessee man charged after using Grok AI to generate child sex abuse images
NASHVILLE, Tenn (WZTV) — In 2000, Jerry Dubose II was convicted of indecent exposure involving two female victims, ages 10 and 4.
Twenty-six years later, the 47-year-old is charged with sexual exploitation of a minor after he was identified as the suspect who utilized Grok AI to generate images of child sex abuse.
A warrant happened at Dubose’s on New Sawyer Brown Road following an Internet Crimes Against Children Unit investigation, which came after multiple CyberTips were sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding the possession of child sex abuse material in an online account. The reported activity of the account ranges from September 2025 through March 2026. Dubose was linked to the account through his address and cell phone.
Dubose is now facing a felony charge and remains jailed on a $25,000 bond.
