The Falcon 900LX aircraft of British Defense Minister John Healey experienced a GPS signal jamming during the return flight from Estonia, where he met with British troops.
The incident occurred on Thursday, and the publication The Times, which had a journalist on board, reported that the satellite signal was interrupted, affecting the connectivity of phones and computers. The pilots were forced to use alternative methods to determine the aircraft's location during the three-hour flight.
Russia is suspected of being responsible for this incident, which is not isolated, considering that another similar case occurred in 2024, when the then Defense Minister Grant Shapps's aircraft suffered jamming while approaching the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad. The British Ministry of Defense has not commented on the incident.
