TransGlobal Insurance Agency Data Breach Exposes Sensitive Data

TransGlobal Insurance Agency Inc. , an independent property and casualty insurance agency headquartered in Monrovia, California, disclosed a data breach resulting from a cyberattack that occurred in February 2026. The total number of individuals affected across the United States has not been publicly disclosed.

TransGlobal discovered the breach on Feb. 24, 2026.

TransGlobal Insurance Agency experienced a cyberattack that resulted in personal information being accessed or acquired without authorization. The company's investigation determined that the incident occurred on or around Feb. 18, 2026.

TransGlobal involved one or more unauthorized actor(s) who gained access to personal data stored on the company's systems.

The types of personal information that may have been exposed in the breach included names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers and dates of birth.

The breach was reported to the California Attorney General on April 29, 2026.

TransGlobal Insurance Agency's response to the breach

TransGlobal is offering affected individuals several protective services at no cost. These services include 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring, along with identity monitoring, fraud consultation and identity theft restoration services.
