A bankruptcy judge has approved a class settlement for former customers of 23andMe whose data was compromised in a breach. Judge Brian C. Walsh of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri granted preliminary approval for the settlement, allowing an opt-out period for certain class members who were not notified until early January 2026.
