The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested 48 individuals in Parañaque, Philippines, as part of an operation targeting an online scam hub. Among the arrested, 41 are Filipino women, while the remainder are foreign nationals. The suspects operated from a setup resembling a call center, utilizing fake online profiles to deceive victims into sending money through fabricated emergencies or investment schemes.
