Traditional defenses are struggling to keep pace with these evolving tactics, which include polymorphic attacks and sophisticated impersonation techniques. The report highlights that 76% of initial infection URLs in phishing attacks were unique, making detection challenging. Organizations are advised to enhance post-delivery visibility and human intelligence to combat these threats effectively. The current landscape shows that AI has fundamentally altered the economics of phishing, making it more effective and harder to detect.
