Via.Ritzau.Dk Azul Launches Free JVM Vulnerability Risk Assessment Amid AI Exploitation Threats
Article Content
- •Azul's free JVM vulnerability risk assessment launched to combat AI-driven exploitation.
- •Mean time to exploit (MTTE) for vulnerabilities has collapsed from months to days or hours.
- •Enterprises are urged to address unmanaged Java estates to mitigate critical security risks.
Azul has launched a free JVM vulnerability risk assessment to help enterprises identify security gaps in their Java environments. The mean time to exploit (MTTE) for vulnerabilities has drastically decreased from months to days or hours due to advancements in AI, particularly with tools like Anthropic's Claude Mythos. This shift has made unmanaged Java estates a critical security concern. Enterprises often delay patching non-critical Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), creating extended exposure windows. Azul's assessment aims to provide DevOps and SecOps teams with visibility into hidden risks before threat actors can exploit them. The assessment is available at no cost through Azul and select partners. The initiative is a response to the growing threat landscape where AI can autonomously discover and exploit vulnerabilities.
