Brinqa has launched a redesigned data engine and an AI Exploitability Agent to help enterprise security teams quickly identify and prioritize cyber risks as vulnerability volumes surge. The new data engine reduces exposure data processing times from hours to minutes, enabling faster reassessment of risks when new vulnerabilities or system changes occur. In a notable deployment, Brinqa processed 150 million source records and over 4 terabytes of data in just over 17 minutes. The AI Exploitability Agent analyzes how attackers could chain vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, mapping potential attack paths and suggesting remediation actions. These updates follow Brinqa's acquisition of PlexTrac and aim to provide a comprehensive continuous threat exposure management (CTEM) workflow. The urgency for such advancements is underscored by Microsoft disclosing approximately 2,700 CVEs in 2026, more than double its previous record. This rapid increase in vulnerabilities necessitates that security teams adapt their risk assessments continuously.
