Nathan Gilson-Massie and Greta Borkauskaite were sentenced for running a nationwide drug supply network via the dark web from their home in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. They used encrypted platforms, including Telegram under the username 'Gorgonites', to distribute heroin, cocaine, and amphetamines across the UK. The Eastern Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU) conducted a raid on July 18, 2024, seizing 125 grams of amphetamine and over 25 grams of heroin, along with packaging materials and a USB stick with access to dark web accounts. Gilson-Massie pleaded guilty to nine charges and was sentenced to three years and six months in prison, while Borkauskaite received a suspended sentence and 200 hours of community service. The operation was linked to at least 570 sales on the dark web marketplace Nemesis since September 2023. Detective Inspector Colin Troll emphasized that the dark web is not a safe haven for criminals.
