Cyberattacks Target Azerbaijan's Technology, Energy, and Government Sectors

Over the past year, Azerbaijan has faced a surge in cyberattacks primarily targeting the technology, energy, and government sectors. According to Suheyl Hamavioglu from Mastercard, the study period from July 2025 to June 2026 revealed that business systems were the most attacked, accounting for 52% of incidents. Physical assets followed at 20%, while customer data and services also faced significant risks.
