Cybersecurity Employees Indicted for Ransomware Attacks on US Companies

Two former employees of cybersecurity firms, Kevin Tyler Martin and Ryan Clifford Goldberg, have been indicted for allegedly conducting ransomware attacks against multiple US companies. They are accused of collaborating with the ALPHV/BlackCat hacking group to extort millions of dollars in cryptocurrency from their victims. A third unnamed accomplice is also involved in the scheme, which reportedly began in May 2023.
