Daniel Greaves, 35, was sentenced on September 29, 2026, for possessing over 110,000 indecent images of children on 76 devices. He collected this material over nine years using the dark web. Greaves received a two-year suspended sentence and is now on the Sex Offenders Register for ten years. The investigation began in March 2024 following a tip-off to Humberside Police's Online Investigation Team. The sheer volume of material necessitated a targeted forensic examination of the devices. Greaves pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children. The case represents one of the largest collections of such material seen in Hull Crown Court.
