Dartmouth College has confirmed a data breach resulting from an attack by the Clop extortion gang, which exploited a zero-day vulnerability in its Oracle E-Business Suite. The breach occurred between August 9 and August 12, 2025, affecting at least 1,494 individuals, whose personal information, including Social Security Numbers, was compromised.
