On March 10, 2026, Deloitte India launched ConnectSafe™, a 4,500 sq ft cybersecurity facility aimed at protecting connected operational systems across various sectors, including automotive, healthcare, and industrial manufacturing. This facility simulates real-world cyber threats, allowing organizations to test their defenses without disrupting live operations. The initiative addresses the increasing risks associated with the convergence of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT), where vulnerabilities in digital systems can lead to failures in physical infrastructure. The lab features an Operational Technology Security Operations Centre (OT-SOC) and a Vehicle Security Operations Centre (V-SOC), among other capabilities. Deloitte's CEO highlighted the importance of safeguarding human lives and critical infrastructure in the face of rising cyber threats.
