Johnathan Nathaniel Allen, a 27-year-old former sheriff's deputy from Chattanooga, Tennessee, was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for producing child sexual abuse material. He exploited eight minors across five states, posing as a 14-year-old boy named 'Josh' on social media platforms like Instagram, TextMe, and Roblox. The investigation began when a father discovered alarming messages on his daughter's phone. Allen manipulated children into creating sexually explicit content, using emotional manipulation and threats. His confirmed victims were as young as sixth grade, and the FBI recovered evidence from his phone, including communications with victims and explicit material. Allen was employed by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office since 2021 and was fired immediately after his arrest. He pleaded guilty to the charges and must register as a sex offender.
