Former L3Harris Executive Pleads Guilty to Selling Trade Secrets to Russian Broker

Peter Williams, a 39-year-old Australian national and former general manager at L3Harris's Trenchant division, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft of trade secrets. He sold sensitive cyber exploit components, intended for U.S. government use, to a Russian broker, resulting in a loss of $35 million for his company. The theft occurred over a three-year period, involving at least eight cyber-exploit components.
