The meeting will focus on 'Non-traditional security challenges confronting the world today', emphasizing the evolving nature of national security threats and the impact of new technologies. Delegates will review outcomes from recent BRICS Joint Working Groups on Counter-Terrorism and Information and Communication Technologies security. The meeting occurs during India's fourth BRICS Chairship, guided by the theme 'Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability'. BRICS includes 11 emerging markets and developing countries, serving as a platform for cooperation on global issues such as terrorism, climate change, and cybersecurity.
