LimaCharlie and Varist have announced a partnership to enhance malware detection capabilities for Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) and enterprises. The integration of Varist’s Hybrid Detection Engine™ into the LimaCharlie Marketplace allows for real-time scanning and analysis of malware threats. This collaboration aims to address the challenges posed by AI-generated malware, with Varist's technology reportedly capable of detecting threats at a rate of approximately 500 files per second. The Varist engine evaluates Zero-Day threats significantly faster than traditional methods, with a false positive rate of just 0.001%. LimaCharlie, founded in 2018, provides a cloud-native security workspace designed for MSSPs and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) providers. Varist's solutions are used to protect over 5 billion mailboxes globally. The partnership is expected to help security teams respond to evolving threats more effectively.
