Memento Labs' spyware, named Dante, has been linked to a malware campaign targeting government organizations and media outlets in Russia and Belarus. Exploiting a zero-day vulnerability in Google Chrome (CVE-2025-2783), attackers deployed the spyware through phishing emails inviting victims to a political forum. Kaspersky Lab reported the findings, and Google has since patched the vulnerability.
