The raids took place in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Bihar, and Delhi, targeting individuals suspected of aiding in the cyberattacks during Operation Sindoor. The investigation, which began after an FIR was filed by Gujarat Police in June 2025, focuses on the alleged intent to disrupt critical information infrastructure and compromise national security. Two suspects have already been arrested, and the NIA has seized several electronic devices and documents believed to be linked to the hacking activities. The agency is examining whether the attackers received technical assistance to enhance their capabilities.
