Palo Alto Networks has released a security update for PAN-OS to address a high severity vulnerability that could lead to a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. This vulnerability affects the GlobalProtect Gateway and Portal, allowing attackers to potentially force firewalls into maintenance mode, bypassing firewall protection.
