Socure Inc. announced a $156 million strategic growth investment, valuing the company at $5.2 billion. As part of this funding, Socure acquired Fravity AI, an agentic artificial intelligence startup, to improve identity verification processes. The acquisition targets the manual case reviews that consume significant analyst time, with 53% of banks reportedly spending over an hour on each alert. Fravity AI's technology will be integrated into Socure's RiskOS platform, automating document retrieval and case summary drafting. This integration aims to reduce costs and improve efficiency in case resolution. Socure claims that its existing technology has already reduced case costs by 80% and resolved cases five times faster. The investment was led by Summit Partners, with participation from Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Wells Fargo & Co., and Docusign Inc.
