On October 19, 2026, Sumsub announced the launch of its Know Your Agent (KYA) Module for MCP, aimed at regulating AI agents' access to sensitive corporate data. This module addresses the issue of AI agents requesting broad access, which has led to security incidents in 65% of organizations over the past year. The KYA Module filters requests from AI agents, removing sensitive information before it reaches the agents and requiring human verification for high-risk actions. This release builds on previous milestones, including AI Agent Verification and MCP integration. The module is currently compatible with the Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Gateway. Sumsub's initiative is a response to growing security concerns regarding autonomous AI agents operating without adequate oversight.
