A 19-year-old man was arrested in Pampanga for allegedly enticing minors through Roblox, violating the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children Act. The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) acted on a referral from the DOJ's Office of Cybercrime regarding reports of online enticement. The suspect reportedly persuaded a 10-year-old girl to send explicit images in exchange for Robux, the virtual currency of Roblox. Investigations linked him to multiple CyberTipline Reports involving child exploitation. A forensic examination of his seized mobile device revealed numerous child sexual abuse materials. The suspect was also found to be communicating with another child, aged 12, attempting similar exploitation. He underwent inquest proceedings on July 1, 2026, with charges filed against him. The NBI is continuing investigations to identify other potential victims.
