Teenagers Plead Not Guilty in TfL Cyber Attack Case

Two teenagers, Thalha Jubair and Owen Flowers, have pleaded not guilty to charges related to a cyber attack on Transport for London (TfL) that resulted in significant financial losses. The attack, attributed to the criminal group Scattered Spider, occurred in the summer of 2024 and is reported to have cost TfL £39 million, impacting those dependent on TfL licenses. The defendants were arrested in September 2025 as part of an investigation by the National Crime Agency and City of London Police.
