The survey, conducted with 5,000 IT and security decision-makers across 17 countries, highlights that 79% of organizations find it challenging to assess the trustworthiness of new vendors, and 62% struggle with existing ones. This lack of trust leads to increased anxiety about potential cyber incidents, with 51% of leaders believing it raises the likelihood of significant breaches. Additionally, 45% of respondents are more likely to switch vendors due to trust issues.
