Varonis Threat Labs has introduced 'Breach at the Beach,' a Capture the Flag (CTF) training event focused on Microsoft Entra ID. This hands-on experience is designed to enhance cybersecurity skills by simulating real-world data exfiltration techniques. Participants will learn to navigate complex log data and detect threats, particularly those exploiting non-human identities like AI agents. The challenges are based on actual incidents faced by Varonis customers, providing a realistic training environment. The CTF is available for free online and is suitable for various security roles, including red and blue teams. It also offers Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits upon completion. The initiative addresses the growing attack surface due to the rapid adoption of AI in identity management. Live sessions will be hosted at industry events such as Black Hat USA and DEF CON 34.
