Waco Independent School District (ISD) and Lubbock ISD reported a data security incident involving Frontline Education, which occurred on August 14, 2026. The breach exposed employee and job applicant data, including Social Security numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses. Both districts confirmed that no student information was compromised. Frontline discovered and remediated the incident on August 15, 2026, and notified the districts on October 1, 2026. Affected individuals will be contacted starting October 26, 2026, and Frontline is providing two years of credit monitoring through TransUnion. The Texas Attorney General and law enforcement have been notified. Both districts are working to ensure transparency and are advising affected individuals to take precautions against identity theft.
