Overview

Broadside is a botnet family identified as a Mirai variant that targets TBK DVR devices and other IoT security cameras used in maritime logistics. By exploiting a TBK DVR vulnerability, it recruits compromised devices into a botnet, enabling disruption of maritime operations and highlighting the exposure of critical logistics infrastructure to IoT/edge devices.
