LogMeIn Rescue is a legitimate remote-support and remote-access/RMM platform used by IT teams to troubleshoot end-user devices.

Overview

LogMeIn Rescue is a legitimate remote-support and remote-access/RMM platform used by IT teams to troubleshoot end-user devices. In cybercrime, attackers abuse it by leveraging stolen credentials obtained through social-engineered PayPal-notice campaigns to gain remote access and deploy RMM tooling, enabling rapid control and malware deployment. The combination of credential theft and remote access makes it a significant vector for intrusions and persistence.
