The attacker drained 8.7 million FET tokens valued at $1.53 million from Fetch.ai and minted 408.5 million unauthorized NTX tokens worth around $463,000 through NuNet. Both incidents were linked to the same wallet, identified as 0x1572...c362. Following the exploit, NTX token prices plummeted by over 70%, while FET tokens fell around 10%. The attacker converted the stolen assets into 546.36 ETH, valued at $1.44 million. Security firms Blockaid and PeckShield confirmed the connection between the two attacks. Fetch.ai has deactivated the affected wallets and is investigating the incident. The overall impact has contributed to a significant loss in the crypto market, with total losses in September exceeding $333 million across various incidents.
