Promptware: Exploit Uses Google Calendar to Stream Victims' Cameras via Zoom

A new cyberattack known as 'Promptware' has been identified, allowing hackers to exploit Google Calendar invites to covertly access and stream victims' cameras through Zoom. Researchers from Ben-Gurion University, Tel Aviv University, and Harvard have demonstrated this vulnerability, which can turn personal AI assistants into surveillance tools without user interaction. This attack targets users of Google Calendar and Zoom, posing significant privacy risks.
