ASI Solutions has acquired Insicon Cyber to bolster its security solutions across Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ), adding a North Sydney security operations centre (SOC) and a range of other services to its armoury.
In addition to its 24/7 SOC with managed detection and response, Insicon Cyber’s services include board and executive cyber advisory, CISO as a service, and ISO certifications 2700, 42001, 9001, 14001, and 45001.
The acquisition is ASI Solutions’ sixth to date, strengthening its cyber security offering and bringing Insicon Cyber’s expertise to its education, government and commercial customer base across A/NZ. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Many organisations already trust a technology partner to keep their critical systems running, and security belongs in that relationship,” said ASI managing director Nathan Lowe. “Insicon Cyber gives us an Australian-owned specialist team and a SOC to bring to the organisations we support. If you are not sure where your organisation stands on cyber risk today, that is the conversation to start with us.”
The acquisition will bring Insicon Cyber’s board advisory, managed security and compliance services to ASI’s education, government and commercial customers across Australia and New Zealand.
The acquired business will maintain operations under its own brand as an ASI Solutions company and will continue to be led by its co-founders – CEO Matt Miller and CISO Greg Bunt.
“Few Australian-owned security specialists bring board advice, a localised SOC and compliance together under one roof,” said Miller.
“Joining ASI keeps that capability in Australian hands and gives us the reach to help far more organisations across Australia and New Zealand, under the Insicon Cyber name we have built.”
In 2025, Insicon Cyber rebranded from simply Insicon, expanded its services into New Zealand , and moved to a bigger office in North Sydney .
At the time, Miller said he planned to expand in its current markets and predicted 2026 would be a busy year for the company. “We’ve built the infrastructure — it’s all very cloud-oriented and it’s easily expandable — but now, it’s having eyes on glass and being able to use the tools that we’ve agreed on and built to take this to another level,” he said at the time.
ASI’s acquisition of Insicon Cyber comes months after it acquired JTC Technology in March to strengthen education capability and support continued growth. Other acquisitions in the past included Int Tec Solutions , Forward IT in Canberra and BEarena .
