Canada’s leading banks, telecom providers and EnStream came together with a shared goal: to close the gaps fraudsters exploit between sectors and prevent repeat fraud. Together, we built CSAFE – a collective effort where each participating institution contributes confirmed fraud intelligence through a single, common platform. For Canadians, this collective effort means faster fraud detection and better fraud prevention, with less disruption to their finances and daily lives.
As AI and machine learning accelerate the scale and sophistication of fraud in Canada, collaboration is essential. CSAFE brings financial institutions and telecom providers together to build the cross-sector defense the moment demands.
Fraud crosses sectors, and fighting it requires collaboration. Operating within a defined governance framework, CSAFE provides a common platform for participants to contribute confirmed fraud intelligence. This broader view helps each participant strengthen its own defences, identify and prevent repeat fraud, and close gaps criminals exploit, helping protect Canadians.
CSAFE starts with a founding group of major Canadian banks and telecom providers. As more organizations across finance, technology and beyond come on board, the collective’s reach against fraud grows stronger.
