From and zero trust to cloud security, OT resilience and data privacy, India's leading enterprises showcased cutting-edge initiatives at the . The inaugural ET Enterprise Security Awards 2026 recognised outstanding cybersecurity projects that are redefining enterprise security across industries. Chosen from over 1,100 nominations, the winners reflected the growing adoption of AI, zero trust, cloud-native security, identity management and operational resilience across India's enterprise landscape. AI Security & Responsible AI Governance BSE Clearing Limited, led by Gurpreet Singh Bansal, and the Innovate CoE Team at State Bank of India (SBI) were recognised for pioneering responsible AI adoption. While BSE Clearing built a governance-first AI security framework for capital markets, SBI leveraged AI-powered fraud intelligence to proactively detect emerging cyber threats across digital channels. Identity & Access Management Platforms, under Sachin Chopade, and the I&O Windows IS Team at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) were honoured for modernising enterprise identity through Zero Trust principles, cloud-native authentication, Single Sign-On (SSO), Privileged Access Management (PAM) and risk-based access controls. Hero MotoCorp, led by Neha Taneja, won recognition for deploying a modern SASE/SSE-based zero trust architecture that strengthens cloud security, secures hybrid work environments and enhances enterprise data protection. Cloud Security Ramesh Kumar T and the team at LTM were recognised for building a unified cloud security programme that embeds security-by-design across public, private and hybrid cloud environments using cloud security posture management and workload protection. EDR/XDR Implementation HPCL, Easebuzz, and NSDL were honoured for strengthening endpoint detection and response capabilities through integrated EDR/XDR platforms, AI-driven threat detection and unified security operations, enabling faster incident response and greater cyber resilience. Shift-Left Security & DevSecOps Annapurna Finance, led by Lal Vikram Singh, received recognition for embedding security into every stage of the software development lifecycle through automated DevSecOps pipelines, infrastructure-as-code scanning and secure-by-design engineering practices. OT Security The GAIL CSCADA Team and Birla Carbon Pvt. Ltd., led by Abhay Sequeira, were recognised for advancing cybersecurity across critical operational technology (OT) environments by integrating secure engineering practices and strengthening industrial cyber resilience. SOC Maturity & Ransomware Resilience Schneider Electric, HMEL (HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited) and Hero MotoCorp were honoured for building highly mature Security Operations Centres (SOCs) that combine AI-driven threat detection, IT-OT convergence and advanced ransomware resilience to safeguard critical infrastructure. Data Protection & Privacy Bhavna Longani and Gagandeep Khera of Axis Max Life Insurance won the Data Protection & Privacy award for implementing a privacy-by-design framework aligned with the DPDP Act, supported by automated data discovery, classification and enterprise-wide governance. Endpoint Security Hindalco Industries, TVS Credit Services and Canara Bank were recognised for strengthening endpoint security through large-scale EDR/XDR deployments, Zero Trust controls and intelligent privileged access management, securing thousands of enterprise devices while improving operational resilience.
