Back Classaction Compunnel Data Breach? Lawyers Investigate Hackers' Claims
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of reports of a possible Compunnel data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who believe their information may have been put at risk , including current and former Compunnel employees, as well as the employees of its enterprise clients.
Reports Emerge of Possible Compunnel Security Breach
Compunnel Software Group, Inc., a New Jersey-based provider of IT staffing and AI-driven digital transformation services to clients worldwide, may have suffered a data breach.
According to a September 11, 2026 post on dark web security site DeXpose , ransomware group SafePay was behind the suspected attack, which was estimated to have occurred the same day the post was made.
Ransomware.live , another dark web monitoring site, similarly reported that SafePay claimed to be responsible for an attack on the major technology support company.
At the time this post was made, no additional information was available the scope or nature of the unconfirmed Compunnel data breach.
If you're affiliated with Compunnel and suspect your information could have been put at risk, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, lost time, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Compunnel to ensure they take proper steps to protect the information they were entrusted with.
