Senior employees at one of Australia’s biggest real estate analytics companies, CoreLogic, openly discussed the years-long scraping of their main competitor’s private dataset and ways they could hide the fact they had done it, a court has heard.
In a case that has implications for copyright and the value of a confidential dataset, construction industry data firm Hubexo has accused CoreLogic , now known as Cotality and the owner of the RP Data platform, of corporate hacking on an industrial scale.
